Handmade Home by Amanda Blake Soule (745.5 SOU)

I love crafting and scouting for new ways to use old things, and Handmade Home combines both! What’s more, author Amanda Blake Soule provides instructions for crafts centered on the home and family. The projects, divided into the categories of Nourish, Nuture, Play, Seek, and Retreat, teach readers how to make useful home crafts like baby slings as well as fun decorative projects like cloth banners and art trays, all out of reused material. Soule also discusses how to find the vintage materials, mostly fabric, that she re-purposes into these crafts.
